Private Parties

We will arrive 15-30 mins before the start time to set up the table. First we will size the waxes to fit the ring makers (so get thinking about which finger you would like your ring to be worn on).

While we size the wax, we let ring makers look at some finished silver ring samples and our Instagram @theworkbenchldn for inspiration. We will then guide you through the lost wax casting process and introduce various carving techniques.

Our classes are designed to be relaxed, and fun so feel free to put on your favourite playlist and pour some bubbles!

Once you have carved your unique design you will be shown how to smooth or add texture and we will discuss finishes that you can choose to make your ring stand out.

At the end of the workshop, we take away your wax rings for casting, hand polishing, stone setting, engraving, and gold plating (if requested +£35). When we have worked our magic we post them back to you within approximately 4-6 weeks. The gift that just keeps giving/sparkling!

Our workshops include all the materials and tools you need to make your dream ring and 1-to-1 guidance and assistance from one of our ring carving experts. All you need to provide is the venue with tables and chairs for us to set up your work stations.

We do not choose event venues. We feel it’s important that you find a venue that reflects your style/celebration.

Workshops last 2hrs with 15-30 mins either side for set up and take down.

Please arrive 5 mins before so as to not delay the start of your workshop.

We do allow drinking at our workshops however we would advise planning your workshop as one of the first activities so we don’t have any boozy blunders with the rings or yourselves 😉

In person ring carving workshops are £125 per person. Classes last 2 hrs plus 30 mins either side for setup and take down. We highly recommend this activity is done during the first part of the day (before too much drinking is done for the sake of the ring designs and general safety 😉 

For outside of London workshops will be charge for our travel costs ontop.

A venue, chairs and tables must be provided so we can set up efficiently. Ring carvers must be over 18 and please be aware that bespoke ring carving parties are non exchangeable or refundable. Minimum guests 15.

We can invoice party members individually, that’s no problem at all, however if a guest does not attend the event for whatever reason they will lose their party booking. Kits or partial refunds are not provided. Please make your party aware. 

Party bookings must be paid for within 30 days of invoicing and in advance of the workshop. We recommend securing your date and booking as soon as possible to avoid your chosen date being lost.
