Private Parties

We will arrive 15-20 mins before the start time to set up the table. First we will size the waxes to fit the ring makers (so get thinking about which finger you would like your ring to be worn on).

While we size the wax, we let ring makers look at some finished silver ring samples and our Instagram @theworkbenchldn for inspiration. We will then guide you through the lost wax casting process and introduce various carving techniques.

Our classes are designed to be relaxed, and fun so feel free to put on your favourite playlist and pour some bubbles!

Once you have carved your unique design you will be shown how to smooth or add texture and we will discuss finishes that you can choose to make your ring stand out.

At the end of the workshop, we take away your wax rings for casting, hand polishing, stone setting, engraving, and gold plating (if requested +£35). When we have worked our magic we post them back to you within approximately 4-6 weeks. The gift that just keeps giving/sparkling!

Our workshops include all the materials and tools you need to make your dream ring and 1-to-1 guidance and assistance from one of our ring carving experts. All you need to provide is the venue with tables and chairs for us to set up your work stations.

We do not choose event venues. We feel it’s important that you find a venue that reflects your style/celebration.

We also have party packs so you can throw your own group workshop at home or work. You will receive a 15% off The Workbench Box discount for group orders of 6 or more kits.

We do allow drinking at our workshops however we would advise planning your workshop as one of the first activities so we don’t have any boozy blunders with the rings or yourselves 😉
